Heather volunteers at the Australian office every Monday. She helps Resources Coordinator Kevin Ison with the distribution of books and materials to prison libraries and helps mail newsletters and other Buddhist resources to prisoners.

"I have been studying Buddhism for some years now. I was drawn to Buddhism when I was looking for help after my husband of 32 years passed away.
In Buddhism I found compassion and understanding both in what I studied and in how those involved in Buddhism related to me. I have worked with LPP(A) for the past twelve months, during which time I have been instrumental in ensuring that all the prison libraries across Australia have Dharma books on their shelves. I have recently taken on the role of Prisoner Resources Coordinator. I am going on Pilgrimage to Tibet with Venerable Robina in April."
