Alison's dog Buster being blessed by Lama Zopa Rinpoche"As soon as I went on pilgrimage I wanted to work at LPP," she says. "Ven. Robina would tell me what great practitioners the prisoners were and as a former addict myself, I felt I could relate to their experience. Even if you have outside support in prison, there’s usually few resources for Buddhists. I want to give so much back, because I went through times when I had nothing. I didn’t do hard time, but I felt I understood."
