— I have taken your advice. I meditate for about fifteen - twenty minutes at night before saying my final dedication prayers... I have found, over the last week, that I have been falling asleep easier... Just that is enough for me to keep meditating. —

— We think people who are outside prison are not prisoners, but we are. —

Legal and parole advice and post-prison support
Legal and Parole Advice
Liberation Prison Project’s volunteer lawyers help prison project students with legal advice, parole plans and access to prisoner rights and resources.
Post-Prison Support
Sarah Brooks in the U.S. and Ven. Aileen Barry in Australia are happy to assist prison project students in finding jobs, accommodation and Buddhist centers to support their practice upon release.
“We try to help each person with his individual needs,” says Sarah Brooks. “And try to see how we can be of most benefit to them. We also try to give them courage and support because they have to create the cause to have the perfect release. It has to come from their own side as well.”
